Kyahaha! My First fanart of Vocaloid! I love it!!! [: Especially Melt. > . > [: Is it nice?? WELL IS IT!? Kagamine Lin && Ren FTW. Yeah. [: I luff their songs. > . > Their both really cute. It took me really long to draw the little details.. Like the belt... and the clothing.. > . > Kind of hard.. [: And Yay I got the fingernails! ^ _ ^ Enjoys.
That's awesome. Great choice of colors, and good job on the all the details!
Suggestion though: Don't EVER save the image in JPG format. It's horrible; it messes up the quality of the drawing pretty badly, especially in pixel art like this. X( Save the image in PNG format instead - it is the god of all image formats.
Haha. Well I guess I should have. But it looks exactly the same on how I drew it *sigh* Indeed PNG is awesome @ __ @;; It kinda makes the file bigger though right? But only by a few bytes ;D
The size of PNG is actually very efficient. The difference between the size of most JPG and PNG images isn't much at all. The main issue is quality; JPG is lossy and causes many visual artifacts on your image.
For example, download this drawing you made and open it in paint. Try to use the fill-bucket tool or something. It doesn't work as it should, as the JPG has caused artifacts on the drawing. If it were PNG, it would be totally fine though.
I'm assuming you use the BMP format to draw the image, then the JPG format to upload it, right? Don't ever bother with BMP. It wastes valuable space for no reason at all. Just do all your work in PNG format and upload in PNG format too! PNG is lossless so you dont have to worry about quality reduction, ever. PNG forever!
No prob. Giving random people helpful advice is a personal hobby of mine. And also, I just don't like to see good art being tainted by bad image compression.
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
